Delete Your Account

In-App Deletion (Fastest)

The quickest way to delete your SetSquad account is from within the app:

1. Open the SetSquad app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your account and data are erased immediately on our servers.

Request Deletion by Email

If you can't access the app (lost device, locked out, uninstalled), email us from the address associated with your SetSquad account:

privacy@setsquad.app with the subject "Delete my account".

Include your username so we can locate your profile. We verify ownership via the email address on file and respond within 30 days (typically within 3 business days).

What Gets Deleted

All of the following is permanently erased from our servers:

• Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar)
• Your email address and OAuth identifiers
• Your LEGO collection and build sessions (timer history, ratings, reviews)
• Uploaded build photos and profile avatars (Supabase Storage)
• Follow relationships, kudos you gave or received, comments you wrote
• Reports you submitted about other users or content
• Push notification tokens
• Subscription entitlement state (RevenueCat anonymized identifier)

What is Retained (and why)

• Purchase records — kept for seven years to meet Dutch tax law. These are pseudonymized and not linked to your profile after deletion.
• Crash reports in Sentry — auto-expire after 90 days.
• Ad identifiers at Google AdMob — deleted per Google's retention schedule.
• Moderation traces at OpenAI — retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse-monitoring, then deleted.

Cancel Your Subscription First

Deleting your SetSquad account does not cancel your Pro subscription. Your subscription is managed by Apple or Google:

• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → SetSquad → Cancel.
• Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SetSquad → Cancel.
